ManorDrive has been involved in investing in small to medium sized businesses for over 25 years. In that time, we have helped hundreds of business owners expand and manage their businesses in a more productive and efficient way, as well as help them exit their businesses with the minimum amount of fuss when the time comes.

Helping each other

We aim to ensure that our transactions are fair, reaching a settlement for both parties in very short timescales.

We don’t get involved with agents and brokers who often give vastly inflated figures and promises of huge rewards after a lifetime of building your business, around 80% of businesses advertised, never sell. Over the years we’ve found that few brokers are honest in their appraisal leading to disappointment.

We are honest, open and understand that selling or merging your business with another can be a difficult process and we believe it’s high time for a change to the way businesses are bought and sold, so we can help get you ready for an exit, either to ourselves or to someone else more suited to your industry. We work with many other poeple who invest in businesses.

We always try to reach the best solution for both parties, we’ve been there and done it many times. We believe that all businesses have valuable assets, whether they be capital, machinery, a debtor book or, often these days, the staff who are in your business day to day.

It’s important to you, that when you sell your busines , your staff who may have been with you years, are safe and secure in their position. We believe in your legacy, it’s an important part of our story going forwards.

Many retire, some have other projects they want to spend time on, we’re here to help you make it happen the best way it can.

We have a particular interest in pre-distressed or distressed businesses, indeed, that is where our journey began. We believe that sometimes companies need a little help to restructure to enable them to grow. Not all business owners are experts at running businesses. We are, that’s why we’re comfortable helping. We can’t work miracles, but we can often work wonders.

We have our own team of legal and accounting experts and we can recommend legal professionals, accountants and specialist tax advisors to help make the sale of your business as profitable for you as possible, after all, we want you want to make the most of your next life changing episode, whatever that may be.
